The Charities Regulator has published that “Charity Trustees’ Week Calendar of Events Goes Live”.
Monday, 4th October marked the launch of the calendar of events for Charity Trustees’ Week 2021.
Charity Trustees’ Week is a time to celebrate and support the almost 76,000 charity trustees across Ireland. Charity trustees are the people responsible for leading and managing charities.
It was another challenging year for the sector with continued restrictions due to Covid-19 making it even more necessary to celebrate the important and tireless work charity trustees carry out throughout the year.The steering group for Charity Trustees’ Week is made up of eight organisations: Charities Regulator, Boardmatch Ireland, Carmichael, The Wheel,Volunteer Ireland, Charities Institute Ireland, Pobal and Dóchasand together we’ve decided to host the majority of our events online for the second year running.
Each morning of Charity Trustees’ Week will begin with a virtual coffee morning so charity trustees can check in with colleagues from the sector for a chat before the day’s webinars and events begin.
