During this year, €80,423 was disbursed to twenty four individuals/ organisations across thirteen counties who applied for grant support from the QIDN.

The largest grant made was €9,000.00

The grants covered respite care, home care, nursing care, medical equipment, medical home improvements, mobility equipment, speech therapy equipment and OT assessments.

Applications are made by selecting “Apply for Grant” function on the home page of the website.

We are using the funds to install a ceiling track hoist for our son who will get lifelong use out of the hoist and represents a massive relief to us who care after him. We wish all of you the very best and (are) truly appreciative of your wonderful gesture”
