Dublin singer Dermot Kennedy has raised over €200,000 for Irish charities after playing four sold-out shows at Dublin’s 3Arena in December.

The Rathcoole native shared his delight on social media, informing fans of the impressive amount they helped him raise for Focus Ireland and Pieta House.

The Giants hit-maker took to Instagram to thank concert-goers, writing: “This will help so many people who need it. It may even save some people.

“Thank you so much for playing your part. You raised all this money from buying tickets and donating, I just facilitated it.
